Award Winning Business Plan

Roger Good

Board member Roger Good walked the kids through an award winning business plan for a new, local startup company. A great reminder to the kids about the importance of designing, planning and executing on all aspects of their individual and group businesses.

Inside Out Communications

Erin Brosterhous; Paige Boucher

Erin and Paige detailed the ins and outs of running a PR/Communications business. Very interesting to learn how they maximize a business' potential through a variety of marketing strategies. The girls then zoned in on our class  project (WZ GOT FILM) and helped the kids develop a PR strategy to promote the business in the most effective way. They also very generously donated some great items for the kids to include in our fund raising efforts for Routt County Search and Rescue. Thanks Ladies!

Kevin Allan

Kevin Allan, a graduate of the Lowell Whiteman School and Colorado State University joined our class on Friday to discuss cryptocurrency (Bitcoin etc.) Kevin is passionate about crypto and walked the kids through the history of it, and its recent crazy, rollercoaster ride. He discussed how he turned his passion into significant dollars. He inspired the kids to take business risks while young, and to realize there are many paths to success; his just happened to be a lot less traditional than most!

Get Involved in CEO

The manner in which the CEO program is funded is critical to its success and sustainability. All funds raised are used exclusively for the Routt County CEO program. To participate, a 3-year $1000 per year commitment is required. Business Partner Investors commitments of time and energy are also critical to the program's success. Contributions may be tax deductible, as our organization is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization.

When we are not touring local businesses, we need a place to host the class. During that time, the 0 CEO students and their Facilitator would meet at your site where they would also have guest speakers and guests from the community attend. Hosting requires a facility with internet access and adequately accommodates up to 5 people.

We are looking for people to share real-life stories about the concepts of running a business, from strategic thinking, product development to marketing, and cash flow management. Also, sharing your personal successes and failures are what recent classes have enjoyed the most.

If you are interested in participating in any of the above programs, use our contact form to send us a message
